Took me 2 hours to assemble and level. First print is looking GREAT!

We own quite a few creality printers. We buy them due to the outstanding quality and reliability. I feel that whether you’re a beginner at 3D printing or a seasoned professional, a creality printer is by far the master of the market.
This is why so many companies sell clones of the Ender series.
Joshua S.
Love this printer, it works AMAZING.
William Y.
Very well packaged

I've owned this printer for about two years and it prints just as nice as when I first bought it. Minimal fuss and works great for table top gaming needs.
Amy B.
I like as far as my knowledge base goes. I'm new to this. And I don't like doing reviews because I'm an older person who believes sales should be all the proof you need to show that a company has a good product, and everyone has a creality. That should be enough. Who thought of that review thing anyway. Have faith in your product.
Joey N.
Amazing! Perfect prints right from the start, very easy to use and understand
Frank L.
Great 3D printer it does print good. I added the CR Touch to make bed leveling easier, you can see it in the photo.

BEST PRINTER for the money
Timothy Y.
This is my first 3D printer and it has been a wonderfully easy tool to assemble and learn. I have had this thing running non-stop since shortly after it arrived!
Andrew C.
Slight learning curve but that just makes it all the more satisfying when you start printing!
Paulo F.
Printer works very well but, it was very hard to align the Z-axis. Neither the documentation nor the video on the Creality website helped on that approach.
If the pace motor is very close to the z-axis, it makes hard and an extra effort to that motor when moving the z-axis down. During the assembly process that axis was not moving down without effort. So, I had to adjust that motor a bit further to the z-axis basis to get a better alignment.
Rather than that, everything is fine.
Stephen L.
Assembly was painless and I've never used a 3d printer before. This thing was easy to build and level, and it is so much fun to make things on. I love watching it run! The print quality is excellent, hard to believe for the price. If you're debating about getting one, just do it!
Greg O.
Seems to work well.

We received it incredibly fast. It was packaged beautifully. We were impressed by the amount of online resources and videos to get started. It's a quality 3D printer. We're thrilled to have it, thank you.
Michael M.
So far it's been the best investment I have ever made. The prints are perfect.Pure Excellence.

The best starter printer. It has everything you need learn on YouTube. It has everything you need to upgrade on Amazon. Just pull the trigger, you be very happy.
Jacob H.
It’s been working great! I got some overture filament that came with a flexible build plate as you con see. Awesome printer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Works great very reliable solid prints
Todd H.
Great 3d printer, quick assembly, running great! Thanks
Earl D.
I am very pleased with the Ender 3 V2. I did upgrade the bed springs and extruder. Stock springs are a little weak from being compressed and stored for so long. I stretched them but still had troubles leveling. Easy fix and not a deterrent. Very pleased in the overall quality, assembly instructions, and quiet board. Wish it had a filament change option and am looking at firmware modifications only for that. Thanks you for a great product.
Bill B.
So fun to set up! This is definitely designed for a tinkerer or someone with help FROM a tinkerer! As of writing, I do have issues with printing, but they are issues that will be ironed out the more I practice with this machine. All in all, this is great for anyone looking to get into the 3D Printing hobby for the first time like me!
George G.
Great printer. Amazing quality prints right out of the box. I would recommend this printer to anybody.
Tyrus C.
Creality is hands down the best brand of printer I’ve ever used. I price shopped around and shockingly their prices beat those of Amazon for the same printer (I have a preference for the Ender 3 v2). I am operating a small 3D print business, and Creality is the only brand of printer I choose for my daily business needs!
Richard S.
I haven't even fine tuned this machine and it ROCKS!!
Dianne H.
What an amazing 3D printer! My very first one and I love it! All good to go right out of the box( after you put it together that is). Groot on the left was made this morning and now on to a T-Rex skull. It’s mad simple to put together and run. It’s so quite I forget it’s running and it’s so perfect I just bought another one!!

TLDR: Easy setup with only a couple suggestions to make assembly easier. Nearly plug and play. Setup this up during a livestream with an audience asking questions and discussion.
Even with a divided attention span it was straightforward and everything needed in box.
Printed the test cat item the next day and very pleased with results. I've printed STLs from thingiverse, and some self modeled items like tablet stands, camera mounts etc using the bundled software with printer (cura) and windows 3d builder. If your on the fence I'd suggest this model as it offers great features and some upgrades.
Don D.
My wife said I don't a 3D printer. Now we have it, it don't turn off and my wife, 6 and 10 years are always creating
Nick B.
Works great! Tough to direct new filament properly when changing though.
Brian R.
I'm new to 3D Printing, but this is a great printer. Pretty easy setup and ease of use. A bit of a learning curve with proper bed leveling and adhesion, but tons of videos on that. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
James A.
There are few times in life where you actually get what you pay for. I have to say that this is one of those times. I am extremely pleased with the Ender3 V2 and the service I received with this product. I recommend this 3d printer to anyone new or advanced.
Johann C.
Meilleur rapport qualité prix!!! La qualité d'impression est impressionnante. Drivers silencieux, mais ventilateur un peu bruyant. Finition de qualité, montage et mise en service rapide. Peu encombrante

Part of this review is about the seller... I really love the printer once i added the BLTouch I get consistent runs. At first i had stock bed springs and manual leveling and i had to level EVERY TIME it would change dramatically. Since adding new springs and BLTouch I can print back to back. outside of the frame being slightly warp in one corner I recommend this printer highly!!
The Seller however, I purchased the printer with the "upgraded" 4.2.7 board and it came with the 4.2.2. (not a huge difference but better drivers) i have emailed them several times through their .shop website; responded to an email they sent me and tried their chat thingy on website. They DO NOT answer. Seek help elsewhere.
Bill K.
I love the machine but the glass bed is warped and I am going to have to buy a new glass bed or see what creality can do for me.
Brian D.
Great printer for the price. I had no issues from the start and was off and printing with just a few hours of tweaking.
Robert B.
This is the 2nd Ender V3 I purchased and they both are doing well.
Mike M.
This is my first 3D printer. So far I’m happy with the results. The shipping was a bit delayed so I emailed Creality to make sure it was still on track. They were very responsive.
Bob R.
This is a great printer. I'm in the process of adding in OctoPrint control and video monitoring!

Wow, what an incredible machine for the price. Printing PLA was almost flawless. I was very impressed. Switched to ABS and disaster. For some reason I have not been able to get a decent print after returning the PLA. I have gone over settings and just about everything but stick all of a sudden is a problem as is separation and stringy non stick. If the return to PLA was good, I would be giving this machine a 10 out of 5! Sadly, I have spent a couple dozen hours trying to get the original quality printing.
Michael G.
I’ve been looking for a 3D printer for a while. I saw someone mention the Ender 3 pro v2 on a 3D page and bought one. Got it together and printing in just a few hours. I’m looking forward to making some one of a kind parts and pieces with it.
Lane A.
The installation was somewhat of a challenge but I got it put together in about two hours. I leveled the bed, put in my PLA and printed the little cat to see if I aligned the bed correctly. The cat came out perfectly. I have been printing other things ever since. I am very happy with my Ender 3 V2!!!
Tyler S.
The Ender 3 v2 is my first ever 3D printer. I've never even seen one in person before. The assembly was a little slow as the directions are nearly useless. However, since assembly I've had nothing but an excellent experience. I've been printing almost non-stop and am almost through my first 1 kg spool of filament. I use Cura as a slicer; learning and tweaking settings has further improved my prints. I almost want another Creality printer to work alongside the original!
Steven B.
This is the second one I own. I pre-ordered an ender 3 v2 as my first printer with no experience and it was pretty much ready to print right out of the box (with a little assembly) which is why I got another as my second printer. I didn't have to calibrate anything although I did check to make sure. I replaced the stock springs right from the start but after the bed was level I was printing away. It's not a negative but I did notice some differences in the two printers even though they were the exact same model. The extruder was mounted closer to the z screw. So close in fact that the plug for the extruder almost hits the z screw. Misses it by the thickness of a sheet of paper. I don't like it's that close but so far after 100+ hours of printing, I haven't seen any issues.
Kathleen F.
Printer arrived in less than a week; excellent tracking provided. Setup was easy following youtube videos. It has printed nearly 24/7 flawlessly ever since, about a month now. I couldn't be happier after having 2 bad experiences with other brands. I will be back to buy a second printer soon.
Colin D.
I got so much more than what i was expecting out of a $250 printer and with just a few inexpensive upgrades it performs even better. I will be purchasing again from Creality in the future
Boris L.
I like the printer just fine, but assembly of it was a pain. most of the screws were loose, and had to watch 4 different videos, including a couple of ones explaining issues with / troubleshooting of building of the printer.
Once I finally got it built and level, the prints I'm getting off of it are pretty good.
I did flash the modified original Marlin firmware with Ender 3 v2 profile, which I needed to compile myself. Seems to work great with that.
Danny P.
This is my second Ender 3 have the pro and the original very good investment and for the price u can buy it to just plain have fun very pleased with this would buy again also set up is a little easier on the pro
Joseph G.
Lot better than the ANET ET4 PRO that worked for less than a month. Everything works as advertised and very good quality prints. JOE
Ron P.
I'm happy with my printer so far. It's a great printer for the price. The customer service has been great for me so far also.
Daniel S.
Item was back order but shipped before they said it would, shipping was fast and everything arrived safely. Machine is working well.
Navid P.
I am enjoying this world of creating and some day soon I'll be planning on getting a resin printer next.
Thank you!
Al D.
Superbly packed. Ease of assembly, a prints like a charm!
Carey C.
So far so good. The building instructions weren't used because I watched YouTube. I thought the instructions were a little vague so YouTube helps. Stay tuned
Harold P.
At first, it wouldn't work, at all...but i finally found a loose wire on the motherboard. After fixing that, it works like a charm! Im having soooo much fun.
Clay B.
I was worried about getting into 3D printing since they have a history of being pretty difficult. This printer has been great and very reliable. We are really enjoying using it now.
Brian L.
This is my first 3D printer and I'm having a blast. The evening it arrived I had the whole thing assembled in about 30 minutes. The next morning my first test print was running. It took a few runs to get the hang of leveling the bed, finding the right heat and speed settings, and how to use the software. For someone to do this for the first time without someone to show me how, I couldn't have hoped for something easier. The sample spool was gone in a few days. Now I got a list of projects waiting. Thank you Creality!
Mason M.
Printer works great. I had fun putting it together. The only thing that seemed weird was when I used the included micro SD > USB adapter it some how corrupted the all the files that were on there. When I asked support if there was anyway to get those files another way they never responded. I have not yet needed any files from them so everything is fine.
Terry D.
Quiet printer with a sleek look. Smooth movements. Definitely a good upgrade from my pro.
Erin H.
I am very pleased with this purchase. Took a little bit of time to put together a little bit time to calibrate it but once I did that it runs a great piece
Kristopher T.
Second 3d Printer, was having issues with my previous one and it was a less common printer and had a smaller community. Swapped out with the ender3v2 which was approximately same price and it's been significantly better with way more resources available for learning as a first time user. Completely different and altogether pleasurable experience.

I think it's sage advice to run this Ender 3 v2 or any other new 3d printer for 100 hours before upgrading anything. I only ran into firmware difficulty after running it for 100 + hours during firmware updates, otherwise, have been completely happy, and ordered two more... the CR-10 with another DIY Ender 3, that i will perform a list of upgrades apon, after 100 hours of error free operation.
Gerald M.
easy setup ran right out of box will buy another one great product
Barn B.
Great printer for the money.
Chad G.
Great 3d printer. Have ran thousands of meters of pla throught it 24/7 with no issues. Recommend the firmer bed springs though
Customer
Awsome little machine straight out of the box. Super easy assembly, had it unpacked, assembled and printing in about an hour.
I did have a few issues with leveling so I swapped the stock springs with flat springs and that helped quite a bit. I also built a spool holder with bearings for smoother filament feeding.
I especially love the 32 bit board and how easy it is to update software.
Built extremely sturdy, nice and ridged design.
For the price this is a great machine with a good community around it to help with upgrades and tuning.
William E.
Purchased when first available, this is my first and only 3d printer. Due to my lack of knowledge about 3d printing, this model was difficult to tame. The bed had one corner which was a good 2 mm lower than the rest. I attempted everything, including putting wedges under that corner which only served to raise the glass bed off the heating plate and allow cooling air to circulate beneath.
When the model did stick, I couldn't get it loose! One of the first items printed, a knob for a switch, stuck so hard to the glass that it tore off a section of the metal grid implanted into the glass. Also, on large flat areas being printed, the print was "blobby". I ended up upgrading the extruder to a two-geared model which regulates the flow of filament in a consistent manner and made a world of difference.
After substituting larger, stronger springs under the plate, I learned to leave the bed adjustment screws as loose as possible so not to distort the metal heating plate where one corner would be lower than the rest! Even now, though, I must slightly adjust the leveling before each build.
The two clips which come with the unit to clip the glass plate to the heating plate are not enough. I discovered that two clips on each of three sides assisted greatly in keeping the heating plate in contact with the glass, insuring uniform heating. I ended up using small paperclips (the type with the two levers on them). I could not put any clips on the left side since they interfered with the path of the nozzle during its initial wiping procedure.
Another modification which I made was relocating the spool holder to the left of the machine. This made a straight path for the filament to enter the extruder. In its original position on top of the machine, the filament bent very sharply and once the tension was so strong, that it prevented the filament from being pulled by the extruder, so I had an "air-print"
Since finally getting it to work in a more or less consistent manner, it has been running nearly 24-7 creating many useful items. I have repaired a drill press, made drawers to hold electronic components, printed Christmas presents for next year, printed enclosures for electronic projects, made some kitchen accessories for my wife, as well as tools for my own use. I only subtracted one star from this score, because many of the early problems could be attributed to my ignorance of the 3d printing process. Yet I do know that my next 3d printer will have auto-leveling! But that's the topic for another review!
Colin
Had a lot of issues getting the bed levelled and before every print I have to tweak the bed levelling. Apart from that it works well and has printed everything I have asked of it so far with minimal stringing and other issues that people seem to suffer with the Ender3. All in all happy with my purchase.
Tom B.
So far I've not had much issue in getting prints done... Found one problem today where I get wider layers every 16 mm as the axis raises up that I need to figure out. Mostly trying different things right now learning the machine and 3d printing. Few face book pages you can find for help but not much in the way of finding anything helpful on the creality site. I think it's a solid printer but we'll see with time.
Mark F.
Have enjoyed the experience with the Ender 3 completely.Could say I am amazed at the quality of the printer and the prints it turns out.Am glad this is the one I chose to start with! Will recommend Creality to everyone.
Randy O.
I am really enjoying the experience. I had a little bit of trouble booting the printer at first but your support and assistance was great--fast, courteous, informative and helpful. Thank you for such a fine product.

i'm working on a formal review video from my channel but will link later but i'm so impressed with this machine so i have the 2 most highly rated printer models in the sub 400 range and of the 2 this one JUST WORKS out of the box great prints and minor adjustments everyday just works the one i got this to compare to is a hassle all the time having to take it apart just to change filaments and allays out of level and hard to re level this unit is a breeze to level and the fact that it has the ability to add auto leveling to it is great its also extremely quite in fact stupid quite i have yet to try tpu but everything else has printed great the first time every time i do like the removable plate as it will eventually need to be replaced i'm sure sturdy construction very easy to adjust and the fact that it uses 1 stepper to raise and lower the gantry eliminates a lot of common issues with dual stepper units keeping them aligned this is hands down the best printer i have ever had and i'm glad you guys sent it to me to try out! only negative i can give is the fan is a bit loud but the rest of the machine is so quite its not to bad to hear a little fan noise this machine is so quite it lives in my master bedroom. out of 6 machines this is now my go to machine and will definitely recommend it to others and my viewers! HIGH FIVE!!
ROBERT B.
Add BL Touch as standard offering
Aidan C.
Loved the printer. Build plate scratches id you don't know what you're doing. I would recommend making a video tutorial of the build and tips for beginners as instructions can always be a little confusing.
Dave L.
I can't say enough about how great this printer is. Far exceeded my expectations. Despite somewhat sparse instructions, it went together and leveled easily and every print has been perfect. Dimensions of prints are much better than my other printers without having to calibrate at all. This is a very sturdy, well designed machine.
Also, creality3d.shop has worked out great despite a moment of panic when I realized they weren't part of Creality3d and saw some really bad, older reviews. (They really should not pretend to be part of Creality) I can't say anything about service but their price was great and I got the printer literally the next day after placing my order.

I'm happy with my printer so far. It's a great printer for the price. The customer service has been great for me so far also.

I am enjoying this world of creating and some day soon I'll be planning on getting a resin printer next.
Thank you!

Superbly packed. Ease of assembly, a prints like a charm!

So far so good. The building instructions weren't used because I watched YouTube. I thought the instructions were a little vague so YouTube helps. Stay tuned

I was worried about getting into 3D printing since they have a history of being pretty difficult. This printer has been great and very reliable. We are really enjoying using it now.

Printer works great. I had fun putting it together. The only thing that seemed weird was when I used the included micro SD > USB adapter it some how corrupted the all the files that were on there. When I asked support if there was anyway to get those files another way they never responded. I have not yet needed any files from them so everything is fine.

Quiet printer with a sleek look. Smooth movements. Definitely a good upgrade from my pro.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Took a little bit of time to put together a little bit time to calibrate it but once I did that it runs a great piece

I only ran into firmware difficulty after running it for 100 + hours during firmware updates, otherwise, have been completely happy, and ordered two more... the CR-10 with another DIY Ender 3, that i will perform a list of upgrades apon, after 100 hours of error free operation.

easy setup ran right out of box will buy another one great product

Great printer for the money.

Great 3d printer. Have ran thousands of meters of pla throught it 24/7 with no issues. Recommend the firmer bed springs though

Had a lot of issues getting the bed levelled and before every print I have to tweak the bed levelling. Apart from that it works well and has printed everything I have asked of it so far with minimal stringing and other issues that people seem to suffer with the Ender3. All in all happy with my purchase.

Have enjoyed the experience with the Ender 3 completely.Could say I am amazed at the quality of the printer and the prints it turns out.Am glad this is the one I chose to start with! Will recommend Creality to everyone.

HIGH FIVE!!

Loved the printer. Build plate scratches id you don't know what you're doing. I would recommend making a video tutorial of the build and tips for beginners as instructions can always be a little confusing.
